Behind The Lens

Location

The "Speicherstadt" in Hamburg is one of the greatest place in Hamburg. I love the old buildings, the lights and the athmosphere.

Time

It was in the blue hour after the sunset.

Lighting

It's a long exposure, so I only use the available light of the blue hour and the lights in the houses.

Equipment

It was with my Sony a99m2, lens was the Sony 24mm 1:2,0 ZA SSM and a no name tripod.

Inspiration

I saw a lot pictures of this place. It's one of the most popular photo-spots in Hamburg. But I try to take my picture a little bit different, so I waited for a good light.

Editing

I adjusted the exposure a little and brought out the details in the houses. I also straightened the perspective.

In my camera bag

My Sony a7r v, I habe a lot of difference lenses and a Rollei tripod. And ND-Filters from Rollei.

Feedback

If you're in Hamburg, you shouldn't miss this spot. There are lots of photographers waiting there. Don't let that put you off and look for alternative angles.
