Location
This one was taken in Saxon Switzerland, region on Czech-German border. It is amazing what nature can create. Definitely place to return to as there are still new places and vistas to discover.Time
It was spring evening and we finished our daily hike here, in this beautiful location. It was spectacular view, amazing sunset colors contrasting with fresh green.Lighting
I was moving away from the viewpoint and when I turned back I saw setting sun just at this perfect position.Equipment
I use my old trusty Canon 550D. This photo was taken with Tokina 11-16 DX II Pro.Inspiration
I hoped to take an unique photo during my stay here and my wish came true. Although there are plenty of wonderful photos from this area I did not see anything like this one. So I feel kind of privileged :-)Editing
My aim is to always capture natural beauty as I saw it. I am not a great fan of Photoshop photo manipulation or special effects. Yes, it can enhance a photo hugely. I primarily use Lightroom to process my photos. In my camera bag
Besides my camera (Canon 550D) and lens (Canon 17-55 f/2.8, Tokina 11-16 f/2.8, Canon 70-300 L, Canon 100mm L) usual things are ND filters, dust blower, head lamp, remote trigger, first aid kit. Nothing special I think :-)Feedback
Be patient and always enjoy the moment even if the conditions are not as you wished for and light might disappoint you. I visited some places many times without any significant success. It's always combination of many factors. Of course we can narrow it down by studying weather conditions and other things but at the end it's mother nature. And it order to capture beautiful natural scene it about luck :-)
