The photo was taken in my school's studio when I was in college. I really like this photo because the model showed her mood very clear and I would tell that she will be a real model for the future. At that time, I had the chance to invite my friends to give a shot for becoming a model. Some were very shy and I also learned how to take them out of comfort zone to shine under the studio light.Time
The beginning of winter when daylight in Canada get shorten and the night time gets longer. I arrange my time very tight so that when my school time was done, I invited the model to school's studio right away.Lighting
A simple set up of hair light and main light were already an A+ condition for a photographer.Equipment
I use my old Nikon D700 for getting this photo and 85mm.Inspiration
Beauty is everywhere and you need to capture before it's gone. I captured this moment of the model for the future so then, in 1 year, or 5 years, when she looked back and see her beauty in her youth. Not only model but also landscape, moments...you will never know how big it changes.Editing
I did some color correction in Lightroom Adobe and Burn&Dodge tool of Photoshop Adobe and enhance her highlight. The setting of studio light was help me to minimize the post-processing.In my camera bag
I am a Vietnamese wedding photographer based in Toronto. I usually go along with my Canon 5D Mark II and 24-70mm/2.8 for small wedding and event, but sometimes for big wedding, I always carry 1 more Canon 6D mark II and 85mm/1,2. Flashes are always in the bag and tons of fully charged batteries (tons of them). Also I carry one of my bestie, Frii Lens, which can carry lens on your hip very convenience. My second bestie, Color checking passport X-rite, come handy when you need it. Last but not least, I got 4 Compact flash Lexar (they are the best in the market) 128gb.Feedback
Don't miss the moment. Create it, Capture it and Target it.
