Behind The Lens

Location

I shot this photo on Hutchinsonc island in Floida

Time

Early morning at low tide. At high it would be impossible to crawl in this cave

Lighting

Use flash to fill in foreground

Equipment

I used a Nikon D300 and Tokina 10mm -17mm with on camera flash to light up cave walls

Inspiration

The lighting brought the detail in the reef walls

Editing

I used dodging and burn tools to bring out detauls and enhance the lughting

In my camera bag

I keep it to a minimum when i walk the beach..nikon and 1 wide angle lens

Feedback

Try using a flash on camera or exernal to increase contrast between backgound and foreground
