I remember getting up very early, before the sun came up. Met an old stray dog on the beach and we walked along the sand , until we found a walkway out into the water. But the dog would not join me on the walkway. So i wandered out to the end of the walkway , sat on edge and watched the sun come up.

Lighting

The sun coming out of the sea made the water look like it was burning, i had to take the pics

Equipment

Just my trusty little hand held

Inspiration

Sitting watching the sun come up, with no one to shard it with. I knew my wife would be upset that she had missed it. So i took it to show her what she was missing.

Editing

No post processing

In my camera bag

Just my little hand held, cannot afford anything better.

Only advice i could give is, if it looks good to you and it makes you feel good to see it, take the shot and share it with others. I have taken thousands of shots and have shared many ofvthem with my friends and family. Its a great way to relive a memory
