As well as being a famous Surf Beach - Muriwai is also home to the Gannet Colony. It has many vantage points for visitors to view the Gannets in the wild doing their thing. Winter is nearly over & now they have returned to build their nests in anticipation of expanding the colony. A must do attraction for nature lovers visiting our West Auckland Coastline.
