Behind The Lens

Location

This picture was taken at Santa Land in Tyler Texas. My mom came to visit from California so my husband, three kids, mom and myself all went to see the Christmas lights. I took the picture from the sunroof of a moving vehicle.

Time

It was at night.

Lighting

We were at a Christmas Light show so I suppose their lights did all the work.

Equipment

I used a cannon rebel T4i standing up out of the sunroof.

Inspiration

Everyone loves Christmas lights

Editing

I edited the contrast and saturation.

In my camera bag

A cannon rebel and a 200 mm image stabilizing lens

Feedback

I am willing to take thousands of pictures for that one amazing one. I have only improved. I have learned through trial and error where to stand and when to shoot. I attend s ton of highschool sports where there are tons of photographers. I'm not afraid to ask questions. Photographers are very willing to share and teach. I have found that most photographers appreciate a great photo no matter who took it. Also I've learned what I find amazing may not be amazing to all and vice versa. I try to just capture a little bit of everything.
