Behind The Lens

Location

I shot it in the studio - we have in the city is an art space, concrete walls, lots of accessories, natural light - in fact just a room.

Time

Photographed the day before it was light. I wanted to shoot with natural light, but in our city it is not enough in the rooms.

Lighting

I wanted to make a couple of the girls - if they are in a real room, use only the walls, floor, mirror, chair - something real, because I wanted to show their feelings, and therefore light, too ordinary - such what usually surrounds them when they are alone

Equipment

It is filmed on the Canon 5d mark iii and a homemade lens such as tilt-shift

Inspiration

I wanted to show that same-sex couples live in Russia like in the mirror. Loving each other people pretend that they are just friends or even relatives. But this closeness between the very strong

Editing

Just took a color image to black and white and all

In my camera bag

Camera plus 1-3 lenses range from 35 to 85 mm, but my favorite focal length of 35-40 mm

Feedback

We must all pass through itself - the emotions, the state of its models, the light pattern - put it into a single puzzle to get atmsofernaya and a real shot. Be sure to see and understand the world. And to be very open, so that the model was opened in response.
