I have severe obstructional sleep apnea and although apap-cpap treatment helps many, it is not right for everyone. I am one of those exceptions (no details & am not seeking advice, etc.) that apap affects adversely and had to discontinue apap. Note: this is not meant to deter or discredit anyone that apap-cpap treatment helps.
Donning the mask w-o the machine was enough to immerse me back into the adverse effects, as well as anxiety & panic, which I tried to capture in this picture.

Thank you, ronsummers! The setups for the pics were disturbing for me, but I hoped to capture what I was feeling.

Beautifully shot. It really speaks to you. You can see the emotion, the anxiety. Great body language. I love it. I have this photo challenge going on called Emotional Body Language and I cannot say that this fits it to the nail. It fits the challenge 100% times 100 more. I would love it if you entered it if you have not already.
