Leaving work from Denver, the sky was lighting up like a strobe light. I called my friend as I drove home to get my camera equipment. The sky was calmer on my side of town but we decided to drive to Red Rocks Amphitheater. A concert was letting out so we set up in this valley. Waiting for an opportune picture moment I was fortunate to catch this lightning ripping through the sky.
