Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken in Tehidy woods in Cornwall, usually people focus on the Bluebells on the ground, but i like to look up!

Time

Just after the sun is high in the sky - about 2-3

Lighting

It's all completely natural - just how I like taking photos!

Equipment

I only use a Nikon cool pix digital - nothing too expensive. I take photos on a budget - therefore relying on the natural environment massively!

Inspiration

Everyone looks down or forward, but I like to look up. Remember when you were a child and you threw your arms out and span round and round in circles... Well that's part of my inspiration!

Editing

I usually pop my photos through photoshop 4 simply to crop and occasionally change the light levels if necessary to create contrast.

In my camera bag

I phone 6 and my Nikon: that's it. No frills, no fuss, it's all about catching that moment in time when everything looks perfect!

Feedback

Don't hesitate. Take lots of photos, find different trees and different angles. Have fun, take a flask! Don't be afraid to lie back in the mud! :)
