I took this photo late in the afternoon in Kakadu national park NT. It’s one of my favourite shots of the trip. A very special moment.

Late afternoon. As the sun was setting

The sun was very low in the sky about to disappear behind the horizon creating the silhouette of the flock of ibis

I used my Nikon D7500 DSLR with a 33-70mm lense on a tripod with no flash.

Inspiration

It’s one of the most spectacular parts of the world and I couldn’t miss the opportunity to take the shot.
