You have a lot of good photos. I love reflections, black and white and silhouettes.

Location
The photo was taken on a summer evening at a lake near our house in Virginia. I often ride my bike down to the lake in the evening when the conditions seem right for a beautiful sunset.Time
It was dinner time because I remember having to leave dinner cooking on the stove, grab my camera, and ride down to the lake since I could tell there were lots of clouds in the sky catching the light from the setting sun.Lighting
Natural evening, summer sky light. I knew I had to be quick because once the sun starts dropping, you have only a few minutes to catch the magic.Equipment
Since I usually chase sunsets on my bike, I travel light. I used only my camera, a Nikon D7100, for this shot.Inspiration
One thing I like so much about this shot and most of my other shots is that they aren't planned. This photo was inspired by the clouds in the sky and the certain kiss of light I could see on the leaves on the trees behind my house while I was cooking dinner. The sky seems to want you to know ahead of time if the sunset will be especially spectacular and when it lets me know, I listen.Editing
This shot was taken early in my photography journey, it was one of the first shots I posted on ViewBug so if there is any processing, it is only basic deepening of color and slight adjustment of light. In my camera bag
Again, being a mother of three, and shooting pictures when they present themselves or I'm on a walk on the trails, I travel light. I usually have my Nikon D7100 and my NIKKOR 18-300 mm in my bag.Feedback
Pay attention to the unassuming, quiet beauties that are present in your corner of the world. If you are unable to travel great distances, discover the different shades of purple in your own backyard or the golden shades in your little piece of the evening sky. In the case of this photo, my advice would be that no matter your age, it is perfectly acceptable and encouraged to leave dinner simmering on the stove, grab your camera, hop on your bike, and pedal down to the lake. Chasing sunsets keeps you focused on what matters and if you're lucky, you can actually catch a sunset through photography, and remember how sweet the evening smelled as the last light sunk below the horizon.
