Location
The photo was taken in the yard of the house where he was living at the time in the city of Cururupu, MA - Brazil (-1.823201, -44.866604). I love to photograph birds and this photo really is one of my favorites.Time
I remember I was packing up some things in the yard and had passed noon when I came across the Owl Caburé (ferruginous pygmy owl) perched on a bush, I was amazed to see her so close to me. Out slowly in search of my Nikon Coolpix P510 camera and I returned to the place thinking that it would no longer there. To my surprise she was still perched in the same place looked like it was over there waiting for me to take the picture. According to the EXIF photo hour was 12h46'25 ".Lighting
Although we are at noon with the sun overhead, the location of the picture was protected from light intensity by bushes which gave power to make the picture a good filtering of natural light.Equipment
I used to make this picture as my Nikon Coolpix P510 camera, without any filter or accessory, using only my hands as support.Inspiration
One of my passions in photography are the birds, but at the moment I was performing some tasks in the yard when I saw the owl, then the photography instincts surfaced with all intensity and I did not have any another reaction that to go to take my camera in order to capture this moment so rare and special.Editing
Yes, the original photo was cropped to highlight the mysterious and penetrating gaze of the owl. Original Size: 4608 x 3456 pixels - 5.57 MB. Post Processing Size: 2565 x 1924 pixels - 2.58 MB.In my camera bag
Only carry the Nikon Coolpix P510 which by the way is the only one I have and which I think super versatile and the time for my use is within my expectations.Feedback
In accordance with the quality of the photos posted on the ViewBug Portal by the infinitely better photographers than me and according to my low experience as an amateur photographer, I have no authority to give any advice, on the contrary I am actually needing them.
