Behind The Lens

Location

This was taken from a campground off the Blue Ridge Parkway in North Carolina

Time

It was dusk and this location always promises a great sunset.

Lighting

It was just a wait and see situation, the light was bright but soon became softer when I took the shot.

Equipment

A hand held Nikon D7000, no tripod or flash.

Inspiration

It was a beautiful sunset and looked completely different one minute prior to the shot

Editing

At the time of this shot I had no idea about post processing. Although I have taken photos for 40 years, I was never one that understood any kind of manipulation.

In my camera bag

Just my camera and the 18-200 lens that I keep on it.

Feedback

Patience is the key for me. And take lots of pictures constantly. Do not be afraid to fail or experiment.
