Early morning light strikes the contoured edges of the Eureka Dunes, Death Valley NP, creating a neat mix of shadows + highlights. It was quite a hike to get to this spot; even though the distance wasn't great, hiking along sand dunes in the dark is not an easy task. The southern end of these dunes were much more interesting than the more accessible areas. The accessible dunes were really just too big (over 640 ft of sand piled up)!
