On the Oodnadatta track I camped at an abandonded home sight on a moonless night. I placed a flash light inside the old home and did a time exposure ballancing the light from the windows with the Milky Way.
I also used a small light to illuminate the front of the building. =This light I moved backwards and forwards so as not to get sharp shadows of the pillars holding up the veranda.
