Location
I took this picture at the Perkins restuarant in Edinboro, Pennsylvania.Time
I took this photo between 8:30 and 9 at night, after the sun was completely down.Lighting
The only lighting in this photo came from the lights on the side of the building because it was night time when I took this picture.Equipment
The only equipment I used was a Nikon Coolpix p 530.Inspiration
My inspriation for this photo came from my Photography teacher, who encouraged us to see if we could find interesting 'city/town' photos around town.Editing
In editing this picture I took the following steps: - take the SOOC (Straight Out Of the Camera) picture and put it in Photoshop - Duplicated the picture - Overlayed the picture (I put the same picture on top of the duplicate of the original photo onto the top of the original photo) to instensify the picture. - Sharpened the photo - placed a Black and White mask on the picture - flattened the photo - added water markIn my camera bag
I normally have my camera and a spare battery in my camera bag.Feedback
I you are walking by something and it makes you stop and pause, that means your eyes found something worth taking a picture. Most of the you don't know what made you stop, so then you would just keep walking, BUT I encourage you not to simply walk away. Work around the scene until you figure out why you stopped. **Remember if you take 100 pictures and only 1 turns out good THAT IS EXCELLENT!!!!** I encouare all photographers to presue your passion and MAKE the WORLD CHANGE THE WAY THEY LOOK AT THINGS! ~abbey
