Location
I took this photo in eastern south Dakota not far from my home. Its on some ground that we pheasant hunt on.Time
The pic was taken at about 4.00 in the afternoon, fall of the year, sun was already starting to set behind me, I thought the lighting was perfect so I snapped a couple of shots before we started walking the field for pheasants!!!Lighting
Natural lighting is the best I think some photos with flash look a little to fake for my liking.Equipment
My camera of choice is a Sony A200 with a 100-300mm lens.Inspiration
I'm kind of addicted to old buildings and this one I have watched age for about 40 years, I have photos of this house at many different times of the year.Editing
I have tried to do a little bit of editing on pics but find that the best ones I have are untouched, I like to take a lot of pics and then choose the best in my opinion. In my camera bag
I always carry my Sony a200 and three different lenses I also have a tripod {although I rarely use it} I have recently purchased a cannon rebel t5 with a 75-300mm lens that I am just learning to use. I also find that my iPhone has a great camera in it for quick shots its really kind of fun to use sometimes. I also carry a small video camera especially for wildlife!!Feedback
I find that the best pictures anyone has are the spur of the moment shots always keep your eye trained for the unusual and be ready to snap a shot. Thanks for the opportunities view bug this is a great site!!!!! Keep shooting!!! Brian Rand
