I love the fall colors, and they were at their peak in this photo. I've seen some great railroad track photos on ViewBug, so I wanted to try my hand at it.Editing
Yes, I did a little extra contrast and a tiny bit of extra saturation. Then I added the dark edge vignette sparingly and did a little burn around the railroad track area to make it stand out a little more.In my camera bag

Just decide what subject you're interested in, try something you've seen and want to try your hand at, or look around for something unique. Always try different lighting and settings on the same subject just to be sure or maybe shoot the same subject at different times of day to see which you prefer. I personally enjoy evening pictures usually best. You will get that excitement when you know it's right.
