Behind The Lens

Location

The Island of Taquile on Lake Titicaca, Peru.

Time

11am

Lighting

All natural light. Lake Titicaca is at 4000m and the sky was cloudless. The sun was burning hot.

Equipment

Hand held

Inspiration

She just looked so lovely I couldn't resist asking her.

Editing

A little bit of sharpening and i increased the contrast.

In my camera bag

Depends where I am. Normally a tripod or monopod, a zoom lens (24-105mm) and a 50mm prime, spare batteries, a few ND filters and a polariser.

Feedback

I like to ask permission but you have to be brave, don't be embarrassed to ask if you can take a photo, it doesn't matter if they say no. Mostly they say yes.
