Location
In the Hill Country of Texas during the Spring when the Bluebonnets, Indian Paint Brush and other beautiful wild flowers come into bloom. It was a rural country road that we mistakenly took.Time
The pic was taken in the afternoon.Lighting
The sky was very overcast that day. It had rained earlier in the morning.Equipment
Canon Powershot A2200Inspiration
My husband and I had traveled to the hill country of Texas from South Texas because I had a job interview for a High School Counselor. The interview was horrible so we left afterward and took the scenic route home. Not on purpose though. I so glad we missed our turn because I would never had the chance to meet the donkeys. We saw the donkeys and pulled over. At first they were scared and started quickly turning around. My husband whose a cowboy and former ranch hand got their attention by whistling and making a clicking sound. He said when they turn around take it! Lol They all four turned around and stared at us and well, I took the shot plus some others. But this particular shot was the best.Editing
I adjusted saturation, contrast and brightness. In my camera bag
I take along my Cannon Rebel and my IPhone 8. Only camera equipment I have.Feedback
Be patient be quick and take that shot when it’s there! Also get lost on a country road now and then. You can’t imagine the beautiful things you’ll see.
