Behind The Lens

Location

Photo was taken at the Riverwalk in San Antonio Texas

Time

I took this photo mid day while enjoying the "day of the dead" festival

Lighting

This photo was one of my earliest shots on my journey into discovering the photography world.

Equipment

I used my beginner camera, Canon T3, with a tamron 28-70 f/2.8 lens

Inspiration

I was drawn to the colors and details in the face painting. I wanted to capture the model'suitable beauty along with the artist's talent.

Editing

I touch up the colors and slightly boosted the saturation in photoshop

In my camera bag

I have graduated to my intermediate camera, Canon 70D. My go-to lense is now a tamron 70-200 f/2.8. I still have my short tamron lense as well as my Canon wide angle.

Feedback

Keep practicing. When I was out on this particular day, I had no set goals in mind but to get some lense time under my belt.
