Thank You JDL. Personally, I like the one on black, but will be interesting to see what everyone likes - whether it's influenced by gender, personal preference, culture, etc.

The lighting and exposure wasn't changed between the two shots, but the white naturally has a softer diffusion from it being reflected around, while the one on the black shows more detail from the lack of the diffusion.
