Behind The Lens

Location

In Montcalm County on trails behind a school. Beautiful,serene wooded area with lots nature to capture with my magical Nikon camera.

Time

Early afternoon

Lighting

I love capturing the golden backlighting of early eve through the leaves and plants and the dancing reflections on the water. Nature is a realm that fascinates me with the ever changing light and colors. I feeds my spirit to be able to create a beautiful photo and share it. I have been in love with photography since I was a child and when the digitals came out I just exploded into a new venue of creativity with camera and computer. I makes me so happy that I found Viewbug. I love the way it all works and how we share our gifts of perception of things through the lens. No 2 people see the same way and that is what makes it so interesting and magical for me.

Equipment

Nikon D3100, I prefer natural light,buy sometimes use fill in flash.

Inspiration

The serenity and color and the invite to walk out onto the dock and be surrounded by the beauty there.

Editing

no bag,just me and my Nikon.

Feedback

pay attention to the light and the way it illuminates things. I focus on that after seeing an object or scene I like. I will return at different times in the day to see what is the best light to use for the photo.
