Location

This was taken in my home village in the Peak District National Park in the UK, its my neighbours house and it looked spectacular in the dawn mist

Time

this was taken just after dawn

Lighting

lighting to me is everything and early mornings is when for me the best lighting is there , im up 365 days a year before dawn and out waiting for the light, never miss a day and love every single second of being out there with all the wildlife

Equipment

Never used a tripod, i handhold my 400mm 2.8 on my d5, with d4 on my 70-200mm

Inspiration

I have a facebook page (look up Villager Jim) which i post my daily adventures and have amassed 130,000 followers who all look in to see what my daily catch is and its totally addictive being out every morning like a fisherman not sure what his catch will be!

Editing

i use tonal contrast and brighness adjust mainly

In my camera bag

d5 , d4 , 400mm, 70-200mm and 2 x extender thats it
