A great composition and I like the saturation. 2 things I would have done there to enhance your image is (1) get closer to the ground and bring out the leaves on the ground (2) get yourself a Tiffen *Enhancing Filter* for Autumn Landscape shots.

Location
I took this photo in the fall in Iowa at a 1200 acre home owners property that is like owning a piece of a state park.Time
This was taken in the late afternoon on an sunny day but being in the trees kept the picture from being to bright. The trees were so yellow and the dirt road covered with leaves.Lighting
I felt enclosed in a peaceful world. I absolutely love hiking and the feel of being in nature away from everything.Equipment
This was shot with my Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ200.Inspiration
My husband and I were out with our UTV and this area is my favorite part of the property! It was so undisturbed.Editing
Since my camera is not Photoshop compatible I sometimes use Paint.net, Corel or simply Picasa. Here I think that all I did was saturate the color a bit.In my camera bag
My only equipment that I carry outdoors are my camera and tripod. Since my camera is a bridge camera with an unattachable lens I do not carry others. Fortunately for me it has a pretty good zoom on it. I hope to upgrade equipment at some time but for now I am pushing this camera to see what it is capable of. I have so much to learn.Feedback
