Location
It was taken in New York Public Library in Manhattan. Old, beautiful building on 5th Avenue.Time
It was taken early afternoon. It was beautiful, sunny day. Perfect light for a photos.Lighting
Well, it was difficult to get it right because it was dark inside and bright outside but after few tried it came out perfect.Equipment
I used my Canon EOS 60D with 18-200mm lens. No flash, no tripod.Inspiration
Once I saw something like that on the Internet when I was going thru the pictures looking for inspiration. Unfortunately I didn't know where it was taken. When I went to NYPL and saw that window I just remember that one photograph and there was no way I'm not going to take one myself.Editing
I just did a bit of cropping. In my camera bag
I usually have extra battery, few other lenses and sometimes tripod and/or flash.Feedback
Because I still consider myself new do advanced photography and tend to forget some stuff I often make a mistake of increasing ISO when there is no much need of it, which is making picture grainy. Same happened this time. I wanted the easy way out. After decrising the ISO and ajusting appreture and shutter speed picture came realy good. Every time you take a photo the conditions are different so patience and few tries will take you where you want.
