Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was takin in my backyard in Indiana

Time

This was a sunrise shot.

Lighting

I saw the way the light was coming through the trees and had to capture it.

Equipment

I have a Nikon camera and used a wide angle lens. No tripod was used.

Inspiration

The light doesn’t alway look this good, but the sun was sparkling on the snow and created a dreamy glow.

Editing

Not a lot of post processing. Very simple tonal changes.

In my camera bag

I normally carry a Nikon DSLR with either the 24-70 2.8 lens or the 70-200 zoom lens. I always have extra SD, CF, XQD cards and batteries with a charger. If I’m shootings people I always have a flash with a modifier and remote trigger.

Feedback

Look for the light! It what makes or breaks the image.
