Behind The Lens

Location

I took this photo on my way back home from my work. This photo was taken in Brugheas, a small village nearby my house in the French Auvergne Almost each day I stop somewhere in nature with my camera just to take photos of beautiful moments.

Time

This picture has been shot at the end of the afternoon, around 17h30 The butterflies were very busy to gather their food. I'd lied on the ground, fixing on 1 flower, and waiting for a butterfly to approach.

Lighting

I was lying on the ground, it was a sunny day. I retouched the photo with the the application "Dramatic black and white"

Equipment

The camera I used is a Pentax K100D, I did not use any other equipement. Just a lot of patience

Inspiration

The photos I see on ViewBug from the other members, inspires me a lot. They bring new ideas, new photographic adventures

Editing

Yes, I did, I used the JixiPix Software "Dramatic Black and White" for the light, I brought back the colours with PhotoFiltre.and used BenVista PhotoZoom Pro to enlarge the photo. .

In my camera bag

I now have a Pentax k10d with me and my Iphone. But I would love to have camera build in my eyes, I see so many beautiful moments that I would love to photograph instantly on the roads.

Feedback

Be patience, fix on one flower and wait for the insect to come. If you go everywhere to click in the flower field, you might scare them of Put yourself in a confortable position in which you can stay for a while ;-)
