Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken on the Blackstone Trails on the East side of Providence, Rhode Island. The trails are filled with other dogs that are allowed to be off leash. They get to run around and enjoy life.

Time

While I am not sure what time this picture was taken I know that my girlfriend and I enjoy going for walks on Saturday morning with our dog Rucker after we stop at the local farmers market.

Lighting

It was a cloudy day with occasional flurries.

Camera: Canon EOS 50D Aperture: f/5.6 ISO: 250 Exposure: 1/1250 Focal Length: 123/1 No flash

Inspiration

I love watching my dog having a great time. He is a very animated character that I love to share with others.

Editing

I edited this photo with Aperture.

In my camera bag

Normally I have my 50mm Prime, 70-300mm Canon USM IS, Speedlite II and I just upgraded from a 50D to a 5D mark II

Feedback

The best advice I could give is to keep practicing and don't be afraid to get dirty or in my case wet and lay down. It will appear as if they are jumping higher.
