Yes I was... Truly grateful that the storm didn't die off before I could get to it...

Location
I took this photo a few miles north of Vernon, TX looking north towards the Oklahoma border. there was a strong Cold front moving South and the rich Warm air that had been hanging around all day, created a very electric line of thunderstorms. The location is the Wilbarger County Wind Farm.Time
Between 2000 - 2300 hoursLighting
No two bolts are the same. They are all different and each one is Extremely beautiful.Equipment
I use the typical Canon Rebel T3 with the stock Lens with Shutter release button.Inspiration
I've always been a Huge fan of Extreme weather. it's so unique, always beautiful.Editing
Cleared it up a tad. Nothing to big.In my camera bag
i have a 200mm Lens but hardly ever use it for lightning shoots.Feedback
Never give up on trying to capture Lighting. I started with a lil camera with no shutter release and I had to time it right. and I might catch 2 bolts out of 3 hours of trying. Keep clicking for that "Money Maker Shot"
