This is the Z-line at Hinterglemm in Austria.

Time

Lighting

The wall ride is partly shaded by the mountain behind the rider. Just had a few minutes with this light, so I was lucky.

Equipment

I used my favorite Lumix 7 mm lens and Olympus mirrorless camera. When the rider arrives, everything is set to manual and I just have to hold the shutter and hope I get at least one good frame.

Inspiration

I love action sports and this nice wall ride just begged to be photographed.

Editing

The rider and the bike got some work with the shadows in Lightroom.

In my camera bag

I always have a mirrorless camera and a wide angle lens with me.

Feedback

Buy a camera that you actually carry around, and stay away from the boring kit lens and go wide angle.
