First, I want to say that you're PET portrait photography is AWESOME! It's not easy to get an animal to look into the lens the way you have. And...your "human" portraits are stunning. But I chose to award this particular piece because, being from Louisiana and having visited New Orleans numerous times, I know that there is SOOOOO much to take in all at once, yet you've captured this moment that sums it up nicely. It is not always a "Mardi Gras" parade or night on Bourbon Street; sometimes it is a rather quiet and pleasant place to stroll and listen to the sounds, like this solitary musician. GREAT job!
