Behind The Lens

Location

Hello this photograph was taken in the Portuguese coast, in the beautiful Serra da Arrábida in Setubal , one of the most beautiful Portuguese coast.

Time

January 25, 2014

Lighting

The intention is to capture the natural light of sunrise and its reflection in the water of the atlantic ocean, and also capture the dynamics of the clouds.

Equipment

Camera canon 600d,lens Tamron Tamron 10-24mm F/3,5-4,5 ,tripod Manfroto Compact, gradient filter.

Inspiration

With friend and shooting companion Nuno Lemos, with the intention to find new places to shoot, not too far from home, we found this beautiful sunrise.

Editing

Always edit files in raw, adjusted the white balance , shadows in the rocks and sharpness

In my camera bag

I always have my 10 -24mm and 50mm 1,8 lens, tripod, gradient filter´s

Feedback

Raise often quite early, searching on Google Maps new places to shoot, tell the time of sunrise (http://www.suncalc.net/#/38.5317,-8.8639,18/2015.10.22/00:00) , follow the weather, to know if you will have many clouds or if it will be cloudy, and a lot of patience often not see the sun rising. :))
