I shot that photo in Paris -La defenseTime
I guess this was in the middle of the day, had to wait a bit before shooting the building cause we had a rain shower when we discovered that building.Lighting
Nothing special about light, i just liked the reflection of the light on the building, so took care to expose it properly.Equipment
camera Nikon D800E lens 24/85mm using tripod and nd filters (16 stops)Inspiration
First when i saw the building, i liked the curve, that made me want to shoot the bilding. once i was there i liked the reflection and the light.Editing
Turn the photo into Black and White, and moste of the post-processing is advanced dodge and burn techniques. In my camera bag
nikon D800E at least 3 lenses 14-24mm 2.8, 70-200mm 2.8 and the 24-85mm always have filters and tripod with meFeedback
As this is a long exposure, i think about 6min, the advise would be take your time to compose the picture good before shooting it, to not waste the exposure time and in camera noise reduction (have to use it with D800E). rest is about vision and dodge and burn to reach the result.
