Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken in my kitchen one year at Thanksgiving. My parents had traveled from Georgia to my home in Floria. We were in the kitchen preparing Thanksgiving dinner. My mother was making the Dressing. It was a moment in time that I could not pass up. This was the last time they were able to visit me. I lost my father August 10,2015 and I lost my mother August 12,2018 three years and two days after I lost my dad. She had loved him since she was 13 years old and when he died, she died - she just did not stop breathing. She was never the same after she lost him. I cherish this photo -

This was in the late morning as we were preparing a Thanksgiving dinner the lighting in my kitchen was perfect

Lighting

This was all natural light

Equipment

I used my Sony and nothing else

Inspiration

The inspiration was the love these two shared for each other. My father's attention to my mother and her total devotion to him

Editing

All I did was add the extra color to the photo during editing

In my camera bag

You name it I have it, from filters, to batteries, to extra cameras to tripods

Feedback

When you see the moment photograph it. While you might think it is nothing big, it always is. Never lose that moment in time, you can never get it back
