Thanks so much! I love this spot and am planning to return to it every few months to do a seasonal progression. I feel pretty lucky to live in such a photogenic city.

I was working on a photography project aimed at capturing the feel of various San Francisco neighborhoods. Lombard street is an iconic part of this city but I didn't think I'd ever be able to get a shot that was clear of hoards of people. I started visiting the area during weeknights hoping to find a time when I could set up without a lot of other flashes and people moving through the shot. It happened that on this night it was raining a bit, so the street was deserted. I set up my camera and tripod in the middle of the intersection and waited for a car to make it's way down the street.Editing
The photo was edited in Lightroom from contrast, sharpness, and whitebalance. In my camera bag
A tripod, my camera, a 50mm prime, a 70-200 mm f/4, and a 10-22 sigma wide angle.Feedback
Timing is everything. I returned to this spot 4 times before I felt like the conditions where the way I wanted them.
