What a surprise this shot was. On a day trip to Cape Ann North of Boston, MA, I ventured to a small place near Rockport called Rocky Neck, which is an artists' colony. For some reason this dingy was attracting my attention from many angles. I shot several, but when I looked at this one in Lightroom, I did not have to do many adjustments to the color and only slight cropping. I had it printed on 20 x 30 canvas and the canvas texture makes it look like an oil painting. My Canon EOS7D did all of the work. One of my all time favorites for some reason. Maybe the element of surprise.
