Red Cliff Lodge Horses-4445

This shot is one of my surprises from a shot done during a Canon Destination Workshop at Red Cliffs Lodge near Moab, Utah on the banks of the Colorado River. The cowboys were rounding up trail horses for the morning trail ride for tourists at the Lodge. In my initial review of the images from this shoot, I missed this shot, because I had under exposed the entire series. Using I was about to remove the set from my catalog, but decided to adjust the exposure using Lightroom. With the exposure corrected, I was able to crop the Raw image to get this shot, which is one of my favorite and most popular with those that have viewed the entire set. Sometimes you get lucky and is one of the things I enjoy most working in photography.
