Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken in my mother in law's backyard Easter day.

Time

It was basically high noon when the shot was taken so I just found the perfect angle for the shot. No issues.

Lighting

Sunny day with Sun high in the sky. No added light manipulation or shadow issues.

Equipment

As with all my photos, this was done with a phone camera. I believe this was either a Samsung s2 or an LG flex.

Inspiration

It was the colors that caught my eye. I feel that complimentary monotone colors are just as important as contrasting colors.

Editing

Nothing was altered in this shot. Shading, lighting, saturation, and contrast are all natural.

In my camera bag

I sometimes use a phone camera macro lens, but very rarely.

Feedback

Shots in nature, at least for me, are based on luck and the constant vigilance of keeping your eyes open. Birds and bees aren't known for staying in one spot for too long.
