Behind The Lens

Location

I took this picture on a diving trip in Palau .. The blue canal site

Time

It happened on the fourth day of the trip .. the second dive of the day ..

Lighting

I used 2 flashes to illuminate well the fish .. and natural lighting helped me better illuminate the diver in the background ..

Equipment

Since this picture, I changed my gear .. But the equipment that took the picture is, canon g12 camera with housing ikelite .. Plus 2 flashing of ikelite. Today .. I use Sony camera RX100M2 And 2 flashing Sea and Sea.

Inspiration

I always wanted to take a picture under water with a unique perspective, And suddenly, safety parking lot at the end of the dive, this fish came up to me, and clung to me for a while .. After a few minutes of excitement taking photos it at different angles, I was looking for something different, then I tried to incorporate it into a broader angle and with divers in the group ..

Editing

Image processing was minimal, Amendments white balance, noise, contrast, and some exposure ..

In my camera bag

Usually I go diving trips, I take with me 2 sets of photographic equipment, One is designed for use under water, and the other for use on land that includes the Canon DSLR camera + different lenses .. As well as various accessories such as a tripod, and various filters .

Feedback

Advice for something like this, it's a bit hard .. Because this picture needs a lot of patience and creativity .. But that's what it takes for a good picture, no matter which place .. Good luck everyone !!
