Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken in a hidden meadow in Washington. One day I went for a stroll to enjoy the beautiful weather and accidentally stumbled upon it. To this day it had been my favorite location to shoot.

Time

It was around 3pm. We had rain on and off all day. It actually rained midway through this shoot!

Lighting

I use mostly all natural light. This was an overcast day.

Equipment

A Nikon D7100 and 50mm nikkor lens.

Inspiration

I actually dreamt this session. I love the raggedy Anne and Andy series. The moment I woke up, I jumped on Amazon and order the costumes, than went to home Depot for materials to create the sign post. It was definitely spur of the moment, but I wanted to get it done before I lost my inspiration.

Editing

I edited this image in lightroom. I did some skin retouching other than that I did not do too much to this image.

In my camera bag

My bag holds my Nikon D7100, 50mm nikkor, and 85mm nikkor. One day I will be able to have my dream equipment, but for now I try and create magic with the equipment I do have.
