Behind The Lens

Location

it was taken in a small studio

Time

around 2 or 3 pm

Lighting

i only use one light. its actually a lighting experiment after the more serious shoot that happened earlier.

Equipment

i think i used a d40 with a kitlens, a 150watt strobe with a medium sized softbox.

Inspiration

i like one light lighting a few years ago. one light basically and how you can use it to achieve different results.

Editing

i retouched the skin, took out some blemishes and made the shadow area more darker.

In my camera bag

I always have 1 camera body, a 70-300 lens, a kit lens or maybe a 50mm, 2 speedlights, 5 sets of batteries, a set of gels, tethering cable and a laptop.

Feedback

just keep on shooting. always look where the light is coming from and how it lights your subject. also look where the shadows are falling as it shapes your subject.
