Behind The Lens
Location
This photo was taken at a local country park which I visit quite frequent with my GrandkidsTime
It was late August 2014 mid afternoon, bit of an overcast and we were under the trees. Grandkids were playing in the play area.Lighting
There was no lighting involved as I was too far away to use flash, it was in a shaded area under the trees so I just altered the ISO.Equipment
This shot was taken with Canon 600d with the 18-200 1:3.5-5.6 IS there was no tripod or flash usedInspiration
Always had a bit of a soft spot for sqirrells, I like the way the way they feed, so this was one of them perfect opportunity for meEditing
There was not really any post-processing used, as I had only just started out using manual mode, no raw file used, picture was just cropped at the end to bring the sqirrell a lot closer, as I didn't have the zoom.In my camera bag
Nowadays I will carry the 50mm 1.8 and the 18-200mm 1:3.5-5.6 ISFeedback
For this kind of photo I would use a lens which had good zoom my 18-55mm 1:3.5-5.6 is good but sometimes I feel like I want to get closer to the subject
