Believe it or not this photo is was actually taken in Hawaii on the set of a military training ground used to simulate combat in Afghanistan. I saw this beautiful clouds come rolling in and I really wanted to highlight them. I thought about the colors and how to best bring them out so I figured composing them in a shot with some more eye popping colors would work. I think going in for the low angle and really capturing the yellow bike, the red gas station, the green grass and the blue car really paid off and gave me an image that was even more than I expected to get.
