Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken in my home experimenting with water/bath photography.

Time

With natural light coming through the window just after lunch I couldn't resist this capture.

Lighting

Natural light all the way. It bounced off the white tiles beautifully to give the portrait a fresh and innocent look.

Equipment

I work with a Nikon D7200 and the lens of choice for this shot was my Tamron 24-70mm

Inspiration

I was looking for a natural and innocent looking capture that was a little different. I love to photograph my daughter especially with her gorgeous eyes.

Editing

There was some post processing in sharpening the eyes

In my camera bag

I love to have a wide range of lens from my macro 90mm to my 70-200mm

Feedback

Always have fun experimenting with your portraits. Here I used a colour tablet to give the water a blue look. Just adds a different dimension to the photo.
