Behind The Lens

Location

Taken in my dining room , using the natural light coming through the window to create the highlight and detail , in order to create the right atmosphere and effect for the shot

Time

captured in the midday light when the sun just at the correct hight and angle to cast the maximum lighting

Lighting

always bear in mine the best sauce of light is the natural light created , and the right location can provide shadowing in the right places , you dont always need a flash or additional studio lighting

canon 7d , with 50mm canon 1.8f prime lens , hand held

Inspiration

My daughter is my inspiration to my portrait work , portrait work was alwys my hercules heal , but she has inspired me so much and loves to have her photo taken from such a young age , loves dressing up and working with me when ever i get the camera out ,

never under estimate your capability , practice practice practice, and try never fear your uncomfort zone , learn a subject at a time and most importantly learn your camera and its settings , be aware of lighting and never rush a shot if you get an idea in your head ,and most of all enjoy what you do
