Thank You!! No it is a composite. Added the clouds and birds. The sky in the original was washed out. Clouds and birds are from Jessica Drossin Textures, Cloud Overlay

Location
This image was captured outside of Waxahachie TX on a sunflower farm!Time
It was taken at around 2:00pm in the afternoon. Not the best time of day for capturing but sometimes you just have to get the shot when you are presented with it.Lighting
It was a bright day so I exposed for the flowers.Equipment
On this image I used a Canon Powershot SX110 IS at f/4.5 ISO 200 1/1600 sec.Inspiration
As I was working this field of sunflowers caught my attention. There was the farmers headquarters in the back ground also. The flow of yellow across the field was just to beautiful to pass up.Editing
Yes there was post-processing. As this image was captured around 2:00 in the afternoon, I had to expose for the flowers which meant that the sky was blown out. I added the sky and the birds to give this image depth! In my camera bag
Canon 5d mark II, Canon T1i, Canon Powershot SX110 IS, 50mm 1.4, 18-55mm, 600EX-RTFeedback
The best time for capturing flowers is about an hour before sunset or on a cloudy day. This is when the colors are at their best.
