Behind The Lens

Location

Fitzgerald Marine Reserve, Moss Beach , CA

Time

early evening

Lighting

The lighting was switching from very bright to dark so I used Aperture priority mode

Equipment

Nikon D800, 18mm-300m lens

Inspiration

A child on the beach all by himself, a traveler, all in a vast dynamic open space

Editing

I had to adjust exposure a teeny bit as it was a bit dark, Also adjusted highlights and shadows

In my camera bag

Nikon D800, Nikon D80, GoPro Hero3, 500mm Lens, 2x Extender, 5 extra batteries, several cards

Feedback

Always be on the watch for moving clouds at sunset and sunrise. I always look at the sky as I am sure I missed hundreds of great captures when I wasn't looking. If there are clouds there is a chance of good captures.
